“They thought I was asleep” – Lady recounts painful experience with hostel mate and boyfriend
A Nigerian lady has shared a heartbreaking story online about how she was allegedly betrayed by both her hostel mate and boyfriend after trying to help her friend secure a job opportunity.
According to a post shared on TikTok, the incident happened while she was still in school after she connected her hostel mate to her boyfriend in Oshogbo so he could help her get a job and a temporary place to stay.
Narrating her experience, she said:
“Because I trusted her, I agreed. Everything was going smoothly until one day I visited unexpectedly and met one lady in his room with a huge backside.”
She further alleged that after they all went out drinking together, her boyfriend and hostel mate thought she had passed out and allegedly became intimate right beside her while she was still awake.
The lady revealed that despite confronting them afterwards and receiving apologies from both parties, another shocking incident allegedly happened the following day, leaving her completely heartbroken.
“Both of them started touching each other and eventually slept together right beside me. My boyfriend came begging, saying he didn’t know how it happened. The same girl walked in and asked if she could join us,” she added.
The story has generated massive reactions online, with many people expressing shock over the alleged betrayal, while others advised people to be more careful about trust in friendships and relationships.
