“Respect the throne, return staff of the Oba of Lagos” – Shehu Sani pleads

Human rights activist and pan-Africanist, Shehu Sani has pleaded to whoever is in the possession of the staff and shoe of the Oba of Lagos.

Some days ago, hoodlums broke into the palace of the Oba of Lagos and carted away prized possessions, one of which includes the staff of the throne.

In a video that circulated the social media page, the hoodlums could be seen holding on to the king’s staff as they exit the premises.

In reaction to the staff that is still missing, Shehu Sani pleaded to the conscience of the miscreant keeping the staff to themselves.

He wrote: “Whoever carted away the staff of the Oba of Lagos and his shoe should please respect the throne and return it.”
