Nigerian celebrities and social media influencers are lending their voices against the arrest of comedian, Mr. Macaroni and other peaceful #OccupyLekkiTolgate protesters today.celebrities react to arrest of protesters

It should be recalled that the comedian and ten other peaceful #OccupyLekkiTolgate protesters were arrested today at the Lekki tollgate for protesting against the reopening of the tollgate.

The protesters are insisting that the families of those who lost their lives on 20th October during #EndSARS protests at the tollgate, get justice before the tollgate could be reopened.

Many Nigerian celebrities have now taken to their respective social media platforms to condemn the arrest of peaceful #OccupyLekkiTolgate protesters today.

Falz has this to say; “I am tired of just coping. I am tired of just managing. This is a fucking shithole we are living in and we simply cannot continue like this. They are using this threat of force & violence because they expect that we would naturally fear for our lives, but the life we dey live no kuku get meaning before”
