“No be ‘see finish’ be that?” — Fayose slams Tinubu over his boastful election comments

Isaac Fayose, brother to former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has criticised President Bola Tinubu over remarks attributed to his political camp regarding his electoral victories.
In a viral video, Fayose took aim at what he described as boastful confidence surrounding the President’s rise to power, referencing Tinubu’s comment that he survived a tough party primary and a difficult general election to become president.
In a viral video, Tinubu was heard saying that the primary and the presidential election that brought him to power were tough but he succeeded.
Fayose questioned the narrative of political dominance, saying it reflects what he called a “see finish” mentality.
Fayose said: “Can you see and hear ‘see finish’ from Mr. President? He said during the primaries it was tough, but he won. And during the election that brought him in, it was tough that he won.
That he’s now president. That nobody fit take him out. Hear your president. No be ‘see finish’ be that.”
He suggested that such confidence indicates a belief among political actors that they are firmly in control of key state institutions.
“They don see us finish. It’s so confident because they know that INEC is their own. They know that judicially is no more hope. They are so sure of themselves,” he added.
Despite his criticism, Fayose urged Nigerians not to lose hope, insisting that citizens still have the power to change their situation.
“But you and I, we can still wake up and change our story. God bless you,” he said.

Our President confidently saying he will win the election is complete ‘see finish’ because they believe INEC belongs to them. They are very confident, but you and I can still wake up and change our story — Isaac Fayose pic.twitter.com/0Xi0LZTnox
