Charles Spencer marries fourth wife at secret wedding in Arizona
Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer 61, married Cat, a Norwegian archaeologist, in Arizona on Friday, May 15. This is the Spencer’s fourth marriage.
Cat, 43, wore a white linen dress and heeled shoes as she carried a bouquet of white roses in breathtaking images taken against a desert backdrop.
The pair appeared madly in love, holding hands as they walked together in marital bliss.
The duo had been dating for two years when he was requested to review her 2021 book, River Kings. Since then, they’ve started a podcast and collaborated on archeological expeditions.
In a joint statement issued on Tuesday, they said: “We both consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have advanced from coworkers to friendship, to profound love and connection.
Laughter has been the foundation of our relationship throughout, and we both have a strong desire to live.
Charles Spencer’s Relationships
It comes after Cat’s court lawsuit against the Earl’s ex-wife, Countess Spencer, was resolved in December of last year. The pair took a selfie during their secret nuptials.
It was reported two months ago that Charles and Karen, who live on the Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire, had concluded their divorce. The former couple was married in 2011.
The Count and his third wife have one child, Lady Charlotte. The countess confirmed on Instagram last year that she had moved out of Althorp a year after the split.
Charles and Victoria Aitken were previously married for eight years, from 1989 until 1997. They spent much of their time in South Africa and have four children together: Lady Kitty, 35, twins Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia, 33, and Viscount Louis, 32.

New Romance
In June 2024, the father of seven split from his wife Karen Spencer, and went public with his new lover, Cat Jarman.
Since 2023, Charles and Cat have co-hosted The Rabbit Hole Detective, a historical podcast, with Richard Coles. In February, they celebrated their 100th episode.
Diana and Earl Spencer have two older sisters: Jane and Sarah. The late Princess of Wales married Prince Charles in July 1981.
