Apostle Chibuzor launches bold support plan for stranded Nigerians in South Africa

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has rolled out a new initiative aimed at helping stranded Nigerian families in South Africa return home and rebuild their lives.
Speaking in a video shared on his Instagram page, the cleric said the move followed disturbing videos and reports showing Nigerians facing violence and hardship abroad.
According to him, the situation deeply affected him emotionally and pushed him to take action in support of struggling Nigerians.
Under the programme, eligible beneficiaries — mainly married couples with children who cannot afford to return home — will undergo proper screening and verification before being accepted.
Once approved, their children will receive free education, while the adults will be enrolled in skill acquisition programmes to help them restart their lives in Nigeria.
Apostle Chibuzor also noted that the initiative does not currently cover flight tickets back to Nigeria, but revealed that discussions are ongoing with government officials and airline stakeholders to secure possible support in that area.
He further explained that beyond accommodation and resettlement, beneficiaries will also receive daily provisions and structured reintegration support to help them settle back into society with ease.
The initiative has since generated positive reactions online, with many Nigerians praising the cleric for the humanitarian gesture, while others called on the government to support similar efforts for citizens abroad.
