“Your parents do not have any connection” — Lady shares things she wished she knew before graduating university
A Nigerian lady shares a priced list of things many undergraduate students should know before leaving the university to the labor market.
She shared the video to her Tiktok page, @chopilos, where she admits that it is quite difficult for many people to accept.
The young lady claimed a lot of parents do not have the connection they claim, and many will only realize it after they graduate and have to struggle to get jobs on their own.
She also emphasized the importance of being able to use ‘pretty privilege’ to your advantage. She holds the opinion that dressing well and looking nice will open many doors.
Adding to her list, she advised many undergraduates to make friends with rich kids because that can help in boosting their connections as well.
She warned smart students to always have somebody they can learn from and not be unteachable because they think they know it all.
Her last item on the list was for students to avoid surrounding themselves with people like them because it hinders growth.
