The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled members of the New Media Committee of its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council as preparations gather momentum for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
The extensive list, released under the Renewed Hope 2.0 campaign platform, contains more than 200 names expected to participate in the ruling party’s digital media operations ahead of the general election.

Separate details released alongside the list also revealed the leadership structure of the Office of the Director of New Media, including national officers and coordinators representing Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
APC names new media leadership for 2027 campaign
Dada Olusegun was listed as National Director, while Solomon Arowolo was named National Secretary. Ningi Ahmed and Jubril Gawat were listed as Deputy Directors for the North and South respectively.
Other leadership positions cover administration, operations, strategy, diaspora activities and liaison with the APC.
The campaign also named six regional coordinators for the South West, South East, South South, North West, North Central and North East.
Announcing the committee, the Renewed Hope 2.0 platform stated, “Presenting the members of the New Media Committee of the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress for the 2027 general elections! Let’s get to work.”

The large committee signals an early effort by the APC to build its online campaign structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
New media teams play a significant role in modern political campaigns, particularly in coordinating digital messaging, online engagement and communication with voters across social media platforms.
