Osimhen ruled out of Super Eagles friendlies against Ghana, Mali

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen will miss Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali due to injury.

The striker, who was sidelined in Napoli’s recent draw against Inter Milan, has been struggling with inflammation from an old injury.

 

In a recent list of released players for international duty by Napoli, Osimhen’s name was omitted, hinting at the gravity of his condition.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will face Ghana on March 22 at the Grand de Stade Marrakech.

It will be followed by a match against Mali four days later at the same venue.
