Serie A: Napoli end Inter’s 10-game winning streak with draw

After a run of impressive outings, Inter Milan‘s winning streak in Serie A came to an end as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Napoli at San Siro.

Inter created early opportunities, with goalkeeper Alex Meret making some crucial saves to deny Matteo Darmian and Lautaro Martinez.

However, it was Darmian who broke the deadlock just before halftime, sweeping home a well-worked move by Alessandro Bastoni.

Napoli responded after the break, pushing forward and earning a series of corner kicks.

Their persistence paid off when Inter’s defensive errors led to a corner, resulting in Juan Jesus equalizing with a simple finish at the back post.

The draw halted Inter’s impressive run of 10 consecutive Serie A victories and reduced their lead at the top of the table to 14 points.
