“Nigeria is not safe” — Cross alleges beggar robbed him in Lagos
Big Brother Naija star Cross Okonkwo has lamented after alleging that a street beggar robbed him in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
Cross made the allegation in a video shared on his social media page, where he recounted an encounter with some beggars who approached his car while he was in the area.

According to the reality star, one of the men allegedly reached into his car and took an item before running away.
“Federal government, I just got robbed. All these beggars, they were in my window talking to me. I did not refuse the guy and he just ripped off something from my car and ran away,” Cross said.
Cross said he chased after the alleged robber but was unable to catch him because the man ran too fast.
The incident left the reality star questioning the presence of street beggars in Lagos and raising concerns about security in the area.
He also called on the government to address the issue, particularly the activities of street beggars around Lagos.
“Nigeria is not safe. Federal government, what kind of mistake are you guys doing allowing these guys on the street?” he said.
“This Lagos, I don’t understand why you guys are allowing these people to be on the street. This is unfair,” Cross added.
