“Don’t repeat that name, else you’ll see yourself in Georgia” — Carter Efe reacts after his new girlfriend asks, “Who is Elma?”

Popular Nigerian streamer and skit maker Carter Efe has sparked reactions online after a video showing a private conversation with his new girlfriend, Jasmine, surfaced on social media.

In the viral clip, Jasmine appeared to ask Carter Efe about Elma, the mother of his child, after seeing people repeatedly mention her name in the chat.

Carter Efe immediately reacted to the question, warning Jasmine against bringing up Elma’s name while also expressing his affection for his girlfriend.

“Don’t repeat that name again, if you repeat that name again you will see yourself in Georgia right now. I love you with everything I have why are you calling that name?”

Jasmine apologised and explained that she only mentioned the name because she had seen people talking about Elma in the chat.

Carter Efe, however, cautioned her against paying attention to everything viewers write during their livestreams.

The conversation then took another turn when a voice in the background appeared to refer to Elma, saying: “This girl go dey beef you oo”.

Carter Efe responded in Pidgin English: “Make she beef me, e go better.”

Carter Efe and Elma have previously been publicly linked as a couple and share a child.
