Nani has collected 17 major honours during his career, including the European Championship with Portugal, the Champions League and four Premier League titles during his time at Manchester United.
Nani’s career across four continents
The Portuguese forward has made 638 appearances at club level, scoring 133 goals for teams across Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia.
His journey began in Portugal with Sporting CP and Estrela da Amadora before his performances earned him a move to Manchester United.

Nani spent seven seasons at Old Trafford, making 230 appearances and scoring 41 goals. He was part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s teams that won multiple Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League.
The winger later represented Valencia, Lazio, Venezia, Orlando City, Fenerbahce, Adana Demirspor and Melbourne Victory before joining Aktobe.
Portugal legend continues playing
Nani also enjoyed an accomplished international career with Portugal, earning 112 caps and scoring 24 goals.
Those figures place him sixth on Portugal’s all-time appearance list and ninth among the country’s leading international goalscorers.
His biggest international achievement came in 2016 when Portugal won their first European Championship. Nani played a significant role in the tournament, scoring three goals as Fernando Santos’ side lifted the trophy in France.
Now contracted to Aktobe until December 2026, Nani remains active despite reaching the latter stages of his playing career.
