“Na celebrity plantain” – reactions as Duncan Mofe claims he bought this bunch of plantain for N6,000

Popular Nollywood actor, Mofe Duncan recently took to his social media timeline to share the photo of a bunch of plantain he bought.

According to Mofe Duncan in his post via his Instagram account, he claimed to have bought the bunch of plantain for 6000 naira.

He shared the photo and caption it‘, ‘ This 3 & ¾ bunch of plantain cost N6000 (six thousand naira). Read that again. ?V #WhereDoWeGoFromHere ?”

His post has gathered massive reactions from his fans and followers as many refused to believe him while stating that the plantain is a ”celebrity plantain” meaning an average Nigerian can’t buy it at that price.
