Man wearing Tinubu’s insignia cap sparks reactions after telling Nigerians whom they should vote for in 2027

A Nigerian man wearing a cap bearing the insignia of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stirred reactions online after sharing a video from a train station in China, where he urged Nigerians to vote wisely during the 2027 general elections.

In the viral clip, the man, who identified the location as Sancha train station, praised China’s level of development while criticising Nigerian politicians over poor governance and infrastructure.

Speaking in a mix of English and Pidgin, he pointed at the modern transport system around him and questioned what elected leaders in Nigeria were doing with public resources.

Man compares China’s development with Nigeria

The man said the train station reflected how leaders in China prioritise development and provide equal opportunities for citizens, regardless of their social class.

According to him, both the rich and the poor enjoy the same public facilities in the Asian country.

I’m at the train station in Sancha. Guys, this is train station. This place is train station.

“So, you see, look at the view. So, these our politicians. They know all this up there.

“This is train station in China. So, what are you people doing in that Abuja, in that House of Assembly, Senate, House of Representatives?

“Wetin una dey represent us? Come China, come see, there is no rich man, there is no poor man.

“They eat the same thing, they wear the same cloth, they do something for their people.”

Advises Nigerians ahead of 2027 elections

The man also advised Nigerians not to support politicians who fail to deliver good governance, urging citizens to vote based on competence rather than financial inducement.

He further encouraged voters to collect money from politicians if offered, but still vote according to their conscience during elections.

Nigerians, any politicians, wey no do well, no vote am. Collect him money, chop am.

If they give you money, don’t reject it. Collect their money, vote your conscience. These our politicians, they are very, very wicked set of people.

“See, no mind anybody face oo. If they want to give you money, collect the money, during vote, vote your conscience. What you see here, this is train station.”

Continuing his remarks, the man said the level of equality and development in China amazed him, noting that ordinary citizens and wealthy individuals use the same transport systems.

He added that the country’s infrastructure and sense of unity should serve as a lesson for Nigerian leaders and youths.

In one of the states first oo, poor man, they dey here. Rich man, they dey here. Children, they dey here.

“The same thing with flights. These people no even know which one be economy. They are just equal.

“They love each other, they love their country. See development in the country, see where I stand. There is an underground here too.

“Nigerian youth, any politician that gives you money, collect the money, eat the money, vote your conscience. That is my hope. Thank you.”
