La Liga: Bellingham on target in Real Madrid’s 4-1 thriller against Villarreal

Jude Bellingham was on the score sheet as Real Madrid delivered a sensational 4-1 win against Villarreal, to make huge title statement.

The win took Carlo Ancelotti’s side to the top of the La Liga table, placing them one point ahead of title rivals Girona.

 

Bellingham’s goal through a powerful header marked his 13th in the current campaign, while Rodrygo Goes extended Real Madrid’s lead before halftime, securing.

However, Villarreal succeeded in displaying some strength after the break, with Jose Luis Morales finding the net.

But Real Madrid swiftly responded to regain control. Brahim Diaz’s run and finish reinstated their two-goal lead, and Luka Modric sealed the victory with his 13th consecutive season scoring a league goal for Los Blancos.
