“If I say I haven’t eaten, ask for my account details” – Lady sparks debate on spotting unserious men
A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her opinion on how to identify an unserious man during the talking stage.
According to her, a man’s response when a woman says she hasn’t eaten can reveal whether he is truly interested or just passing time.
In her words, she said:
“If you want to know a talking stage that is not serious, it starts from food. He can ask you, ‘Oh baby, have you eaten?’ and you’ll say, ‘No, I haven’t eaten this afternoon. I don’t know what to eat and I’m just feeling somehow.’”
She went on to explain that a man who truly understands the situation should be able to read between the lines and respond accordingly.
However, she criticised men who simply offer verbal concern without taking any real action to help.
“If it was a wise and sensible man, he would understand that you need money for food. But the mumu boy will be like, ‘You’ve not eaten? You don’t know what to eat? Baby, try and find something to eat and eat for me too.’ He will just end it with that phrase. Are you not supposed to ask for my account details?” she added.
Her statement has sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians divided over her expectations.
