“I will take action on this” – Police react to controversial ‘Gender-Switch day’ video at DELSU
In a trending video circulating on social media, the Nigeria Police Force has taken note of some students from the Delta State University (DELSU) participating in a “Gender-Switch Day” event, where male students dressed as their female counterparts, and female students donned male outfits.
The event, which took place on the university campus, has caught the attention of the Nigeria Police Force.
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, expressed his concern over the viral video and promised to take appropriate action.
Via his official Twitter handle, Adejobi addressed the issue, stating that the police would investigate the incident further to determine if any laws were violated during the event.
