A lady has explained why she chose to remain in a relationship with a younger man, saying age is not necessarily a measure of maturity or wisdom in a relationship.
She acknowledged that she is older than her boyfriend but said she does not believe being with an older man automatically means having a more sensible or mature partner.

According to her, her boyfriend may be younger than her, but she appreciates the way he thinks and handles situations.
She said he is also willing to correct her whenever she does something he considers inappropriate, and she takes his advice seriously.
The lady added that his maturity is one of the reasons she loves him deeply and believes she cannot do without him.
“I’m older than my boyfriend and I know. It’s not by dating a 30-year-old man or 38-year-old man. Is that—does that man have sense? My boyfriend is a boy but he reasons like a matured man. When I’m doing things that are not good, he will correct me and tell me, ‘Baby, I don’t like what you’re doing,’ and I will say, ‘Oh, this thing that my baby said, let me reason it, it’s good.’
“It’s not by dating a man that is older than you enough. You get sense? That is why I love him so much and I can’t do without him…”
