“I didn’t migrate because of money” — Woman shares tragic reason she says she will never return to Nigeria
A woman has stirred widespread conversation on social media after revealing why she believes she can never return to live in Nigeria, claiming she lost two children to medical negligence before relocating to the United Kingdom.
According to the woman, the heartbreaking losses happened within two years while she was still in Nigeria, an experience she said permanently changed her outlook on the country’s healthcare system and her future.
The woman said, “I can never never never go back to Nigeria no matter the amount of money they offer me because my two children died in Nigeria due to medical negligence.”

She explained that the deaths of her children were not the reason she left Nigeria in search of financial opportunities but were instead the driving force behind her decision to relocate abroad.
The woman added, “In two years, two children. When I told the doctors here in the UK they were shocked.”
She further stated that after moving to the UK, she welcomed another child and believes the outcome could have been very different had she remained in Nigeria.
The woman said, “I later gave birth to my son but if it were to be in Nigeria, he would have died also. I didn’t migrate because of money, so even if I’m offered 17 pounds to go back to Nigeria, I would never never never go back.”
