EPL: Manchester United ease pressure on Ten Hag with goalless draw against Liverpool

Manchester United secured a goalless draw against league leaders Liverpool at Anfield, to ease the pressure on manager Erik ten Hag.

The result marks the first time Liverpool failed to secure a win at their home ground this season.

Before the draw, Ten Hag was under-fire with United positioned eighth in the league coupled with depleted squad due to injuries and the suspension of captain Bruno Fernandes.

However, the Red Devils were resilient enough to deny Liverpool a win on their home turf.

The match saw moments where United’s defense, led by Luke Shaw and goalkeeper Andre Onana, thwarted Liverpool’s attempts.

Scott McTominay, the top scorer for United, had a chance to break the deadlock, but his shot was saved by Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson.
