Kim Min-jae whose first-half goal was canceled, slotted another, to seal the victory for the host.

Stuttgart, despite enjoying possession, struggled to create good chances in the game.

The win helped Bayern Munich silence their critics, having suffered a disappointing 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in their last Bundesliga game.

The victory also keeps them four points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who took a vengeful route, beating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 earlier Sunday evening.
