28-year-old lady laments as parents pressure her for marriage with prayer quotes
28-year-old lady cries out over the pressure from her parents on marriage as her 23-year-old niece is preparing to tie the knot.
The Twitter user identified as @nkeobere laments the overbearing demands from her parents on bringing home a man.
According to the Master’s degree holder, her parents won’t stop flooding her phone with prayer notes all in the name of getting married.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote;
“My 23years niece who is waiting for her nysc callup is getting married today and my family has been sending prayer quotes to me since morning.
I’m 28 , a masters degree holder working and sending money home. But because of marriage i suddenly need prayers ?#africanstandard”
