2027: “Northerners are not ready to vote for Tinubu” — Primate Ayodele

Nigerian cleric and the founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh prophecy ahead of the 2027 general election, claiming that many Northern voters are not currently inclined to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Ayodele said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would need to undertake extensive reconciliation efforts to win back support in the North.
According to him, many Northern political forces are beginning to align behind former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The cleric, however, warned that Atiku’s path to victory remains uncertain despite what he described as favourable circumstances.
Atiku faces obstacles, Ayodele says
Ayodele suggested that although the opportunity to secure electoral success is within Atiku’s reach, several challenges could derail his ambition if he fails to take decisive political steps.
“The thing is in front of Atiku, but a lot of circumstances will stop Atiku if Atiku does not wake up,” he said.
He also described President Tinubu as highly determined politically, arguing that the president’s level of commitment surpasses that of many of his rivals.
Concerns raised over Tinubu’s health
Beyond electoral politics, the cleric expressed concerns about Tinubu’s health, urging those close to the president to pay greater attention to his wellbeing.
“But Tinubu must work seriously on his health for God to help him. Healthwise, Tinubu is not okay. The family needs to take care of him,” Ayodele stated.

The Northerners are not ready to vote for Tinubu. APC will do a lot of reconciliation to persuade the northerners but they are coming together to vote Atiku.
Can Atiku even win? The Presidency is in Atiku’s hand but a lot of circumstances will stop him if he continues to play… pic.twitter.com/Y4AFIUv9yS
