‘No Bag. No Pad. Nothing’

According to the lady, she had no sanitary pad or other supplies with her when the incident happened.

She wrote:

“One time my period hit hard in the middle of a crowded train station.

“No bag. No pad. Nothing.

“I was standing there trying not to panic when a woman next to me noticed me shifting uncomfortably.

“She leaned in and whispered, ‘Do you need something?’

“I barely nodded.”

The woman then opened her purse and gave her a sanitary pad and a small packet of wipes.

“She opened her purse, handed me a pad and a small packet of wipes, then quietly said, ‘There’s a bathroom two platforms down. I’ll walk with you if you want.’”

‘I Have Spare Underwear’

As they walked towards the bathroom, another woman reportedly noticed the situation and joined them.

The lady recalled:

“Halfway there another woman fell into step beside us.

“I saw what happened. I have spare underwear and some painkillers if you need.”

She said the support continued as they approached the bathroom, with a third woman joining them.

“By the time we reached the bathroom a third woman had joined, holding out a small heat patch and a bottle of water.”

‘None of Them Knew Me’

The lady said she was touched by the fact that the three women did not know her or ask for her name before offering assistance.

“None of them knew me.

“None of them asked my name.

“They just saw a girl in trouble and handled it like it was the most normal thing in the world.”

Reflecting on the encounter, she described it as an example of the support women can offer one another, even when they are complete strangers.

“That’s the thing about women.

“We can be complete strangers and still look at each other like:

‘I’ve got you. Keep walking.’”

Her post has since attracted reactions on X, with users praising the women for their kindness and willingness to help a stranger during an embarrassing and difficult moment.
