2027: “Any Igbo man supporting APC is wicked” – Isaac Fayose reaffirms support for Peter Obi
Nigerian businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has criticised Igbo supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) while expressing support for NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 election.
Taking to his Instagram page, Fayose made the remarks while discussing politics in the Southeast, claiming that no Igbo politician had achieved as much as Obi in the last 40 years, except the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

“Any Igbo man supporting this APC government is a wicked Igbo man. When it comes to politics in Igbo land, in the last 40 years, apart from late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, no other Igbo man has done what Peter Obi has done. “You all don’t have sense. Nnamdi is still in jail, they didn’t allow Peter Obi to campaign.”
Y’all should know that with or without you people, Obi will still win and will be declared winner come January 2027,” he said.
Fayose further urged Obi’s supporters to remain confident despite opposition, claiming that the former Anambra State governor would win the 2027 presidential election.
His comments come amid ongoing political discussions ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, with various opposition figures and groups positioning themselves ahead of the polls.
