“₦1,456 hazard pay?” – Alleged Dangote worker leaks salary payslip online

An alleged worker of Dangote Group has sparked reactions online after sharing details of his salary alongside what he claims is a payslip as evidence.

The information was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @UnkleAyo, who said the details were sent anonymously via direct message.

Alleged Payslip Surfaces Online

According to the post, the worker shared a breakdown of his monthly salary, which he claimed amounts to about ₦146,351 in total earnings when allowances and incentives are included.

The breakdown reportedly includes a basic salary of ₦30,758, housing allowance of ₦11,466, food allowance of ₦5,460, utility allowance of ₦5,460, hazard allowance of ₦1,456, transport allowance of ₦9,646, inflation allowance of ₦15,925, and laundry allowance of ₦910.

Additional figures reportedly listed also include ₦45,000 as transport support and ₦20,270 as incentive.

Claims on Work Conditions

The alleged staff also made claims about working conditions, stating that contract staff do not receive leave benefits.

He further alleged that workers are expected to visit multiple outlets daily, with performance monitored through a tracking application.

According to the message, employees are required to complete up to 75 outlet visits weekly as part of their duties.
