Nigerian actor Ayodeji Richard Makun well known well as AY Comedian has disclosed why celebrities can’t take a stand during elections.
According to AY Comedian, most celebrities are scared to endorse their favorite presidential candidates and political parties because they fear they might be blacklisted from the industry.
AY Comedian made this disclosure on his Twitter page describing celebrities as “slaves of fear” during elections. He added that when celebrities take stands with political candidates, they are attacked by clueless thugs who are ready to do anything for their selfish interests.
He tweeted;
“Most celebs have become slaves to fear during elections. Whenever they publicly take a stand on any political candidate of their choice, they are either BLACKLISTED or ATTACKED by clueless thugs who would do anything to secure their own interests. Stop putting them under pressure.”
