A Nigerian lady has vented online over a man’s act toward Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo’s coffin.
It would be recalled that Alexx Ekubo passed away on May 11, 2026 at Evercare hospital, Lagos.
Alexx Ekubo’s Death
According to a statement from his family, the actor passed away from complications of advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
Lady Calls Out Man
A clip shared by the Facebook user, Blessing Nnamekwe shows an elderly man touching the actor’s coffin.
The lady seeked clarity over the man’s act and urged the actor’s family to investigate.
”Alexx Ekubo family should question to the man. Why did he touched the casket with his rings“, The post reads.
Meanwhile, Alexx Ekubo sister-in-law has opened up about their final moments before his passing, as condolences and tributes pour in.
In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, Ify Ekubo revealed Alexx Ekubo had plans to be in Houston, promising to call her before his birthday.
Reflecting on the actor’s legacy, she stated, “You were a mentor to my children and their elder brother.It is well”.

The Service of Songs for the late Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo was held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos.
Notably, family, friends, and colleagues from across the Nigerian entertainment industry gathered to pay their last respects.
