Van de Beek to return to Man United in June, per Fabrizio Romano

On Loan Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is set to return to Old Trafford from Eintracht Frankfurt in June.

According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch player’s buy option clause worth €11m plus €3m add-ons, will not be triggered.

“Donny van de Beek will return to Man United in June.

“The buy option clause (€11m plus €3m add-ons) into loan deal will not be triggered by Eintracht Frankfurt.

“Dutch midfielder expected to look for new chapter, new club in the summer transfer window,” Romano added.

The 26-year-old moved to Frankfurt in 2023, on a season-long loan deal with the Bundesliga giants, with an option to buy.

However, in seven appearances for the side, van da Beek has failed to impress, recording zero goals and assist.
