UNICAL authorities frowns over increasing rate of sorting, says lecturers give students scripts to write exams at homes, hotels and relaxation places

The authorities of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has frowned at the increasing rate of sorting and other academic-related malpractices going on in this school as they accuse lecturers of being the architect of this heinous crime.

In a memorandum published on one of the university’s notice boards, the management revealed that some lecturers have been fingered to have indulged in this act as they provide students with scripts to write their examinations outside the university.

The authorities noted that students now take their exams in hotels, at home and other relaxation places which is solely against the rules and regulations of the system.

The management further urged all the academic staff involved in this act to stop with immediate effect in order to prevent the wrath of the school.
