UCL: Ten Hag provides update on Sergio Reguilon fitness ahead of Tuesday’s clash

Erik ten Hag has said that on-loan defender Sergio Reguilon, is in contention ahead his sides crucial Champions League fixture.

Reguilon who has been sidelined for the past month may make his return on Tuesday when Manchester United play host to FC Copenhagen at Old Trafford.

When quizzed on the possibility of the player’s return during Monday’s press conference, Ten Hag said, “Sergio, he got ill for Saturday, so he was fit. He trained all week last week, and yesterday (Sunday), he was back in part training.

“Today (Monday) he will train, and then we have to assess if he is ready and game fit or if he can be involved in the squad. We have to wait for that.”
