Tottenham agree £75m deal for Man City winger Savinho
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho for £75m, with the deal potentially rising by another £10m in add-ons.
The 22-year-old is expected to undergo a medical before completing his move to north London, where he will sign a long-term contract with Spurs.

Savinho finally gets Tottenham move
The transfer represents a breakthrough for Tottenham after their previous attempt to sign Savinho last summer ended without a deal.
The Brazilian instead remained at Manchester City but struggled for regular Premier League football under Pep Guardiola during the 2025-26 campaign, starting only seven league matches.
Tottenham have now returned for the winger as new manager Roberto de Zerbi looks to add more attacking quality to a squad that has already undergone significant changes this summer.
Savinho’s arrival follows the expensive acquisitions of midfielders Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, taking Spurs’ spending beyond the £300m mark during the current transfer window.
The club have offset part of that expenditure through player sales, generating approximately £140m from the departures of Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Luka Vuskovic.
Spurs continue pursuit of attacking options
Despite the agreement for Savinho, Tottenham are not expected to stop their recruitment activity.
The club are also making progress in negotiations for Manchester City’s Egypt international Omar Marmoush, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium after joining from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59m in 2025.
Tottenham continue to hold an interest in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, although completing deals for both Marmoush and Gakpo alongside Savinho could place further pressure on the club’s finances.
Savinho will now look to complete the formalities of his transfer before turning his attention to Tottenham’s Premier League opener.
Spurs begin their campaign away to Brentford on Saturday, while Manchester City host Bournemouth on Sunday.
