Three-months-old baby dropped at creche found dead hours after mother’s return from work
A fresh mother who left her child at the creche for babysitting is thrown in despair after meeting the lifeless body of her child on return.
According to the narrator, @Lolo_Cy on Twitter, the nursing mother dropped the child at the creche to resume work right after at the end of her maternity leave.
“A friend dropped her 3 months old healthy baby at creche and she came back to pick his dead body. Nobody understands what happened
The teachers at the creche said they don’t know what happened.
My God in heaven! I am beyond hurt. This woman just wanted to get back to her job and needed somewhere safe to keep her baby. She found a creche literally 2 mins from home. God!!!!! This is too much,” she wrote.
The tragic loss, however, was met with mixed reactions from internet users who questioned the duration of maternity leaves in Nigeria.
