Nollywood actor and producer, Gabriel Afolayan has broken silence on the ongoing feud between former music duo, P-Square.
In an X post, the actor recalled that the duo’s arguments dating back to 2005 at Renox Studios stemmed from song selection for upcoming albums.

Gabriel Afolayan Breaks Silence On P-Square’s Rift
According to the actor, arguments over whose songs should make the tracklist most often arose and were adressed by Jude Okoye.
He further emphasized that the rift persisted for years and lasted during the peak of their careers.
”The Psquare story that I know dated back to 2005 get squared era at EKO reelmix studio. They’ve always had issues with songs selection for any album they intend to release. Argument on whose songs should be picked more and Jude has always been a decider of that. This fight don tey no be today. All through their prime era”, The tweet reads.
Background Of Psquare
The duo, born on November 18, 1981 in Jos, Plateau State, and started singing and dancing in 1997 while in secondary school.
The duo officially formed P-Square in 1999 and rose to fame with their 2003 debut album, Last Nite.
After splitting in 2017, they reunited in 2021 but confirmed another split in 2024 as both pursued solo careers.
