The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, has shared a heartbreaking update on the viral Delta killing.
Earlier, GistReel reported that tragedy struck on April 26, 2026, after 28-year-old musician, Mene Ogidi, also known as Oghenemine Ogidi or OG Millan, was killed in Effurun, Delta State.

He was apprehended by transport union members at Benin Motor Park along the Warri-Sapele Expressway while trying to collect a waybill parcel.
SP Bright Edafe Breaks Silence
In a recent post on the microblogging platform, X, (formerly Twitter), Bright Edafe disclosed that the 28-year-old artist’s corpse still remains at the mortuary.
According to him, the case is a suspected murder and an autopsy must be conducted, which has been agreed to by the family of the deceased.
“However, its a case of suspected murder, so autopsy is compulsory and the family also agreed to this”, He stated.
