Baba-Panya charged the newly appointed General Secretary and the board of trustees with performing their jobs to the best of their abilities in order to fulfil God’s calling on them.

He also urged the newcomers to embrace teamwork.

In a statement, the outgoing General Secretary of ECWA, Rev Yunusa Nmadu, stated that during his term, a bylaw for ECWA was formed, the rule of law was followed, and corruption was never permitted.

He informed his successor of his unwavering commitment to making the Church even stronger.

The new Secretary General, Rev. Ayuba Asheshe, said his appointment was a call to service and that he would focus on uniting the Church.
