Student receives over N2M after being humiliated over N100K giveaway
A student receives over N2M donations from well-meaning Nigerians after being humiliated while trying out his luck to win N100K giveaway.
A social media user identified as @PINK_THECHILD faced the unexpected after he reached out to a proxy responsible for a giveaway.
The giveaway proxy identified as @theugleeone was asked to share N1.4M with 14 people which he obliged on the X platform.
“@MLBaloni I don’t even know how to explain myself sir, my life is currently in jeopardy. 100k would keep myself and my 400l studies away from ruins sir. I’m helpless, please help me. I’m crying 💔,” @PINK_THECHILD pleaded.
However, when @PINK_THECHILD was selected as one of the winners, he accidentally dropped his account number under someone else’s tweet, triggering insults from the giveaway proxy.
“You’re a daft person, you just have luck I’m in a good mood, paste aza under the comment you’re pasting it under someone else’s comment.
Is that the person that is giving you money you’re responding too??
🏌🏿♀️,” the proxy wrote.
The insult was, however, deemed unwarranted by other users, triggering generous donations from well-meaning Nigerians to the young man.
In light of this, some users have donated millions of naira to the student following the humiliation.
