SEVILLA 2-1 MANCHESTER UNITED :- Solskjaer’s side stunned as De Jong and Suso lead comeback

MANCHESTER UNITED have been stunned by Sevilla who have fought back after Bruno Fernandes’ early penalty.

The Portuguese’s early strike in Cologne came from United’s 22nd penalty of the season. Manchester United’s remarkable run of penalties continued when

Bruno Fernandes converted from the spot in their Europa League semi-final against Sevilla in Cologne on Sunday. However, goals from Suso and De Jong gave the Spaniards the edge in the Europa League semi-final.

United were utterly dominant at the start of the second half, but some brilliant defending and some outstanding saves from Bounou kept them at bay, before a lapse in concentration from Wan-Bissaka and Lindelof at the back allowed substitute De Jong to prod Navas’ right-wing cross home from close range!

Ultimately, however, the penalty from Fernandes wasn’t enough on the night as Sevilla turned around the early deficit to advance past United with a 2-1 win.

It finishes 2-1 to Sevilla, who are into the Europa League final!
