Saleh Mamman (born January 2, 1958) is a Nigerian government official who served as Minister of Power from August 2019 until September 2021.

He was sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari on August 21, 2019, following his nomination and confirmation by the Senate. Buhari fired Mamman on September 1, 2021, and he was replaced by Abubakar Aliyu, Minister of State for Works and Housing.

Mamman Kwagyang Saleh hails from Taraba State. He obtained a higher national diploma in electrical electronics from Kaduna Polytechnic in 1988. He also has an MBA in business administration from Bayero University Kano, which he completed in 2015.

Career

Saleh began his teaching career in 1981 at the Technical School in Mubi, Adamawa state. In 1992, he transferred to Taraba State. He was appointed to assistant director at Taraba State’s Ministry of Works before retiring in 2002. After retiring, he went into full-time business and politics.
