Road Safety Recruitment Portal: 15 Preconditions To Be Met By Applicants

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the start of its 2026 recruitment campaign, establishing major eligibility conditions for Nigerians seeking employment with the agency.
According to the Corps, the online application gateway will be available for four weeks beginning Friday, July 3, 2026.
The FRSC emphasized that the recruitment process was free of charge and urged prospective applicants against paying payments to persons or groups claiming to aid employment in the Corps.
However, the agency stated that interested applicants must meet a number of requirements before successfully submitting their applications here.
15 Preconditions To Be Met By Applicants

The following are 15 requirements that every applicant must meet before applying for the position.
1. Applicants must be Nigerian by birth. Only Nigerians by birth are eligible to apply for the recruiting drive.
2. Applicants must meet the following age limit. Candidates must be within the age limit given for the cadre they are applying for.
3. The FRSC expects applicants to have basic computer abilities.
4. Applicants should be medically, physically, and mentally fit.
Candidates must be verified as fit to carry out the Corps’ tasks.
5. Applicants must be single.
6. Applicants must satisfy the minimum height requirements: Male applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall, while female applicants must be at least 1.58 metres tall.
7. Professional applicants must hold valid practising licences: Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lawyers, and other professionals must provide legitimate professional licenses.
8. Applicants must have decent character. Candidates must not have a criminal record or be in financial debt.
9. Applicants must not have tattoos.
10. Applicants must submit personal contact information.
Candidates must utilize their personal and active email addresses and phone numbers throughout the recruitment process.
11. Applicants must declare all qualifications.
12. Pregnant ladies should not apply.
13. Applicants must have the requisite educational requirements.
Depending on the cadre, candidates must have SSCE, ND, NCE, HND, Bachelor’s degrees, MBBS, Law, Engineering, Nursing, and other recognized certifications.
14. Drivers and craftspeople require additional certifications. Applicants for work as drivers, motorcycle riders, or craftspeople must hold Trade Test Certificates or other applicable professional certificates. Drivers must also have current driver’s licenses, and articulated and tow-truck drivers must be between 26 and 40 years old.
15. Applicants must prepare all necessary documents: Candidates should have the following documents ready before applying:
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Educational certificates
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (where applicable)
- Valid professional license (for professional cadres).
- Trade test certificate (for craftspeople)
- Valid driver’s license (if appropriate).
- Medical fitness certificate from a government hospital.
- A printed copy of the online application form for screening.
