Pickford, Kudus clash as West Ham suffer third consecutive loss in all competitions

Tempers flared on Sunday, as Jordan Pickford and Mohammed Kudus were both booked in the aftermath of a contentious challenge.

The incident unfolded as West Ham’s Kudus went to ground following a tackle from Everton’s James Tarkowski.

Everton’s goalkeeper Pickford, left his post to contest the decision, engaging in a heated exchange with Kudus, who was still on the pitch.

Kudus, not one to back down, rose to his feet and confronted Pickford chest to chest.

The confrontation led to the England goalkeeper receiving a yellow card from the referee.

However, the decision was not totally satisfying for West Ham supporters who jeered and booed Pickford for the remainder of the first half.

Despite the rough incident, Everton managed to break through In the second half, securing a crucial 1-0 victory over the home side.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goal proved to be the decisive strike, leaving West Ham with a third consecutive loss in all competitions.
