Pastor Adeboye shares prophecy on abducted Oyo schoolchildren, says release will be ‘dramatic’
The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has stirred conversations online after sharing what he described as a divine prophecy concerning the abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
Speaking during a church programme, Pastor Adeboye said God assured him that the victims would be released in a dramatic manner, although He did not reveal when or how it would happen.
“God is moving in Nigeria. God spoke to me concerning the release of the kidnapped Oyo schoolchildren and teachers. He told me it would be dramatic,” he said.
According to the cleric, God instructed him not to focus on the timing or the process of the victims’ release, assuring him that every detail was already under divine control.
He further revealed that God told him He would later disclose what would happen after the incident.
“Though He didn’t reveal the time or details, He asked me to leave that aspect in His hands and said He would later speak to me about what would happen after this particular incident,” he added.
His statement has generated mixed reactions online, while many believers expressed hope and prayed for the safe return of the victims, others called for intensified rescue efforts by security agencies.
Pastor Adeboye’s comments come amid growing concern over the fate of the abducted pupils and teachers, with many Nigerians continuing to pray and hope for their safe return.
