“Once in my life”- Mother of 2 seeks N1,300 transport fare online, receives unexpected amount
A mother of two who sought N1,300 for transport fare online has gone viral after receiving millions of Naira in donations.
While appealing for financial support on X ( formely Twitter), @bidex31 shared her account details.

In a follow-up tweet, the woman disclosed that her OPay account had reached its receiving limit of N500,000, an amount she never imagined.
Among the donations was an X user who credited her N500,000 as a birthday gift.
Meanwhile, her husband, a Computer Science and Technology graduate from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), works at a private school.
According to the woman, her husband earns N40,000 monthly and teaches three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Basic Science.

According to the X user, the last time she received N300,000 was in 2019, and she had never handled such an amount until the online donations.
“The last time I saw ₦300,000 at once in my life was in 2019. Since then, I haven’t had that kind of money in my hands again”, The tweet reads.
