Nigerian Mother Celebrates Doctor Who Cared For Her Daughter After She Was Diagnosed With Hole In Her Heart (Video)

A Nigerian lady has celebrated a cardiologist who took good care of her daughter and encouraged them, after her daughter was diagnosed with a hole in her heart.

She said the cardiologist at LASUTH was very encouraging and empathic, and at a point, he even made effort to raise funds for the surgery for them.

She narrated;

“October 2019, the doctor confirmed there was a hole in my daughter’s heart and she needed surgery. In a country like Nigeria, it was huge for us. I was not comfortable with Government hospitals, because I’ve had my experience so I didn’t want anything to do with them. So I visited private hospitals but the price was skyrocketing.

I decided to go back to Government hospital, and the doctor was so encouraging. Even when we didn’t have the money to pay, he kept chatting my daughter up, encouraging her, checking up on her and I was amazed. Do we still have this kind of people in Nigeria?

He even tried raising funds for us. When I saw his encouragement, I was encouraged. Is this happening in Nigeria? He was so encouraging and empathic, my daughter woke up and the surgery was very successful” – Lady celebrates doctor who cared for her daughter who had a hole in her heart.
