NDLEA uncovers hidden stash of illicit drugs in bus compartment
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted parcels of illegal drugs concealed within a specially designed compartment of a bus.
The hidden compartment, crafted to evade detection, was being used to smuggle drugs across international borders.

The agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, shared videos of the seized contraband on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, showcasing the traffickers’ sophisticated concealment tactics.
In a statement, he remarked, “Without the intelligence and professionalism of #ndlea_nigeria officers, who would have imagined that removing a vehicle’s bumper would reveal a specially constructed compartment within the bus, solely designed for drug trafficking across borders? Another cartel has been taken down!”
