US White House launches Trump TV after CNN ban
The White House has launched a new 24-hour digital streaming service dedicated to President Donald Trump and his administration.
The platform, called “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station,” features presidential speeches, official announcements, videos, major events and selected highlights from the administration.

The White House announced the launch in a post on X on Monday, saying the service would give viewers access to both recent and archived footage involving Trump and members of his administration.
Platform to stream around the clock
According to the White House, TRUMP TV will operate continuously, allowing viewers to follow major developments from the administration in one place.
The platform will be updated in real time as new events and official remarks take place, while previously released videos will also remain available for viewers.
The service can be accessed through the White House’s digital platforms and YouTube.
Launch comes amid media dispute
The launch comes as the Trump administration remains embroiled in a dispute with several major US media organisations over access to White House coverage.
Trump had previously restricted CNN, MS NOW and Politico from accessing the White House, accusing the organisations of publishing what he described as false reports.
The media organisations later filed a federal lawsuit challenging the restrictions.
The dispute also affected the traditional television pool used to cover presidential events after CNN was prevented from carrying out a scheduled pool assignment, prompting major television networks to suspend their shared coverage arrangement.
The new streaming platform gives the White House a direct channel for distributing presidential remarks, administration announcements and other official content to the public without relying solely on traditional media outlets.
