“Na you no wan collect am” — Lady recounts packing everything she bought after boyfriend locked her out

A lady has sparked conversations on social media after recounting how she ended a relationship by taking back the household items she bought for her former boyfriend after he locked her out of his apartment over a phone call with another man.
According to the woman, she had supported her then-boyfriend when he moved into a new apartment by purchasing curtains and most of the kitchen utensils because he was struggling financially at the time.
Trouble reportedly started while she was visiting him when she answered a call from a male friend.
She said the conversation was casual, but her boyfriend became jealous, ordered her out of the apartment and locked the door, forcing her to spend the night in a hotel despite his later attempts to persuade her to return.
Relationship ends after heated confrontation
The lady said, “Na you no wan collect am sha. When my ex moved into a new apartment, I bought the curtains and almost all the kitchen utensils to support him because I saw how much he was struggling. One day, I was at his place when a male friend called… I picked up and we were literally just gisting. I still don’t know why he got jealous, but the next thing, this man sent me outside and locked the door”
Social media users weigh in
The story has generated mixed reactions online, with many users debating whether the boyfriend’s actions justified the woman’s response.
While some argued that locking a partner outside at night crossed a line and warranted ending the relationship, others questioned the decision to damage items in the apartment before leaving.
The viral account has continued to fuel discussions about trust, jealousy and financial contributions in relationships, with many social media users sharing similar experiences and differing opinions on how such situations should be handled.
