“My fiancee doesn’t like my brother and wants him out of the house” – Man living with his brother seeks advice

A Nigerian man from Akwa Ibom identified as Oty Pius has turned to the internet for advice after the woman he intends to marry expressed her reluctance to have his younger brother live with them.

Oty shared his predicament on a Facebook group, revealing that he had already formally introduced himself to his future wife’s family, indicating that wedding preparations were already underway.

However, he is currently facing a dilemma as his fiancée has made it clear that she does not want his younger brother to be part of their household after marriage. Recognizing the complexity of the situation, Pius sought the advice of online users on how to address this issue.

In his post, Pius wrote: “Please house I have a woman to marry. When I met her I told her every thing. That I am first born to my parents, so me and my last born was living together. She always see the boy. It was last month I just go for introduction now. She said she didn’t want to see that my small brother. Please what should I do?”

Reacting to the post, Joy Onos Abokita said: “You are yet to marry her? Just introduction and she have already started putting orders? Run my brother. If you marry this type soon even you no go fit live for house. you send your brother away,one Day you’ll send your mother packing if she comes to visit you. It is well.”

Babra Babu wrote: “If you check her family background, you will find that there no connection and bond between her and her siblings,so she’s carrying that “character” into your family,a reasonable person should at least suggest maybe a bigger house (if the issue is lack of privacy),..but my gender only God”
