Michael Eneramo (26 November 1985 – 24 April 2026) was a Nigerian professional football striker. Eneramo’s professional career stretched more than a decade, with 295 games and 126 goals in various tournaments.
He achieved significant success in Tunisia with Espérance de Tunis, where he won five Tunisian Ligue 1 titles (2005-06, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2017-18) and three Tunisian Cups (2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08), as well as top goalscorer honors twice in the league (18 goals in 2008-09 and 13 in 2009-10).
In Algeria, he helped USM Alger win the 2004-05 Ligue 1 championship. Later, he played in Turkey’s Süper Lig for Sivasspor (2015-16) and Beşiktaş (2013-14), scoring 31 goals in 110 games and competing in the 2013-14 UEFA Europa League.
Internationally, Eneramo represented Nigeria, earning 10 caps and three goals between 2009 and 2011, including matches in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. His career ended with a brief stay at Türk Ocağı Limasol in Cyprus, and he retired on July 1, 2018.
Unfortunately, the striker died after collapsing during a friendly match in Kaduna on April 24, 2026.

Michael Eneramo was born on November 26, 1985, in Kaduna, Nigeria. Eneramo was born to Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Eneramo and has an uncle, Hon. Jimoh Idris (Jolly).

Career
Eneramo began his career with Lobi Stars and was noticed by Tunisian premier team Espérance Sportive de Tunis in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he was loaned to USM Alger, where he scored 13 goals in the Algerian National Championship.
Eneramo won the Double with Espérance de Tunis in 2007, then went on loan to Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab in July before returning in December of the same year.
On January 19, 2011, Eneramo signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Turkish club Sivasspor. After two seasons with Sivasspor, he moved to Beşiktaş before being loaned out to Karabükspor for the 2013-14 season. In the 2014-15 season, he joined Istanbul Başakşehir on a free transfer.
In 2008, Eneramo contemplated obtaining Tunisian citizenship to play for the Tunisian national team. He was called up to the Nigeria national team in 2009 and made his debut on February 11, 2009.
In his second game with the Super Eagles, he scored the first goal against the Republic of Ireland.
